How Yovinam Works

What are Yovinam Rewards?

Some stores like Flipkart, Snapdeal allow cashback earned from them to be used only for transfers to an online wallet like PayTM; or making a mobile phone or DTH recharge. To make this distinction easier to understand, the cashback earned from these merchants is referred to as Yovinam Rewards.
The process for earning of Yovinam Rewards is the same as Yovinam Cashback, and the only distinction being that Yovinam Rewards cannot be withdrawn to a bank account. It is due to this, that the available balance on a bank transfer page may be less than your actual available balance.
Any stores carrying Rewards instead of Cashback will explicitly mention them on the respective store pages. The majority of stores do not carry rewards.

What is Yovinam cashback?

In addition to the discounts for online shopping that are listed on Yovinam, we also give you an option of earning additional cashback on your online purchases. Stores and offers that have additional cashback can be identified by looking for labels in Green, like ‘+ Upto 5% Yovinam Cashback’ or ‘+ Flat Rs. 100 Yovinam Rewards’ etc. 

  1. To earn cashback, please ensure that you get redirected to the store only via the Yovinam link and make your purchase. 
  2. Once your purchase is completed, we usually track it within 48 hours and your cashback is added to your pending balance. 
  3. Stores wait for the return and exchange period to be over before giving us the final confirmation of the sale. This process can usually take 4-8 weeks depending on the store. 
  4. Once we receive final confirmation of the sale from the merchant your pending cashback is made available for you to use.
  5. Cashback earned from Yovinam is your money and can be used to recharge online wallet, phone or DTH accounts, or even transferred to your bank account. 

Note: Amount added to your pending balance is indicative and may change upon final confirmation from the store. Cashback earned from some merchants cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.

Why is my cashback pending for so long?

Unfortunately the cashback process is such that we have to wait for the store to confirm to us that the purchase was not returned or exchanged. Merchants also use this time to validate that the sale met conditions for earning of cashback. Usually this process takes 4-8 weeks. To learn more about these conditions, please ensure to read the ‘Useful Tips’ section for cashback stores.

We constantly work with stores to reduce this wait period. However, just to be on the safe side we inform you that it may usually take 4-8 weeks for a transaction to be confirmed. In case your cashback is pending even after 60 days from the date of purchase, click here to file a claim under ‘Cashback Pending For Too Long’.

How do I find out the exact cashback rate for my planned purchase?

To get a better idea on the exact cashback rates applicable on your purchase, You can go on any specific merchant page on Yovinam , and then click on ‘View More’ under ‘Cashback Rates’ or ‘Reward Rates’.

This will show you the exact cashback rates offered by that merchant on your purchase, on the basis of the below parameters:

Whether you are a new user or an existing user on the merchant site
The cashback rate applicable to the specific category of product you have purchased
The merchant platform (Desktop / Mobile web / Android / iOS) which you are using to make the purchase.

Cashback Issues

My cashback was not tracked at all, what do I do?

It can take upto 48 hours for Yovinam Cashback to get tracked. In case your transaction was not tracked even after 48 hours, please click here and file a Missing Cashback Claim for the transaction which was Not Tracked. Please note, merchants accept claims for cashback not tracked cases only till 7th of the subsequent month from the purchase date.

Miscellaneous

A few of my transactions did not get tracked. Do I need to submit a cashback claim for each one separately?

We recommend that you wait for at least 48 hours after the transaction is made. In cases where a transaction was not tracked automatically even after 48 hours, we recommend that you fill a missing cashback form. Information required by us in the missing cashback form is critical for the store to review the transaction.

Unfortunately, we do not have an option for bulk upload of missing transactions. Hence, each claim needs to be individually filed.

How can I ensure I get my cashback?

These are a few things that you can be mindful of to ensure that your cashback tracks properly:

Be logged into your Yovinam account.
Ensure that you are shopping at a store that offers Yovinam Cashback.
When you click an offer or store, Yovinam will open a window linking you to that store. Please ensure that you transact in the opened window.
Please ensure that your shopping cart is empty in the shopping window. If it is not empty please clear the contents of your cart and visit the store via Yovinam again.
Do not use any price comparison or discount widgets while shopping.

Tracking

How do I withdraw my balance?

To withdraw your balance, log in to your Yovinam account and visit the Transfer/Payout section of your profile. In case you are using App visit Dashboard> Withdrawals.

Select the method of withdrawal, bank, e-wallet or recharge.
Select the account where you wish to transfer your Available Balance.
Enter the amount and hit Submit.
Bank transfers take between 5-7 business days to reflect in your account. eWallet and Recharge transactions are almost instantaneous but can take upto 48 hours to reflect in your account. Note: Cashback earned from some merchants (Yovinam Rewards) cannot be withdrawn to a bank account and is listed separately as rewards. Minimum withdrawal limits apply.

Also, there is absolutely no cost or fees applicable to withdrawing your balance.

What can I do with my available balance? Does the money in my account expire?

Cashback earned from Yovinam is your money and can be used to recharge online wallet, phone or DTH accounts or even transferred to your bank account. Minimum withdrawal limits apply.

The money in your account never expires. It’s your money and you can use it anytime.

Note: Cashback earned from some merchants (Yovinam Rewards) cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.

What is the joining/referral code field in the sign up form?

If you have a Code from an ad or a promotional activity, you can apply that here to avail the benefits of the scheme. You can also use this field to enter a referral code from a friend, so that both of you can avail benefits of the running referral scheme!

Note: You may only use one code during signup.

Why should I refer a friend?

You can earn a bonus amount for each friend that signs up using your referral code and fulfils the requirements related to the referral. There are no caps on the number of friends that you can refer, so you can potentially earn an unlimited amount of money for referring friends to Yovinam.
